The Casting Directors of SHREK THE MUSICAL ® have selected Brigid Harrington (9) as one of six finalists in their "Not Your Ordinary Princess" Broadway Competition. In even bigger news, Brigid has recorded more voiceover segments and singing intros to air on Nickelodeon for The Backyardigans and Nick's Jr.'s new show - The Fresh Beat Band. She also booked a job for Noggin doing a segment for Ni Hao Ki-lan's "Great Trip To China".

Fulfilling one of her other dreams in August, Brigid got to perform in a music video for Baltimore's own Oh, The Story! Their debut video - "The Astronomer" - directed by Dylan Steinberg, premieres September 6th. They're an up-and-coming band and this is one great song & video - check it out here >>

Brigid is currently working hard in the studio recording the voice-over for a lead character in an up-coming new animated series to air on the Disney Channel in Spring of 2010. This is the most exciting news of all and we'll have more on it later...
