July 2012 - March 2013

The summer of 2012 will always be memorable for Brigid because she was able to do two things that she always wanted to do as a performer. First, she shot a scene in a major motion picture. In the movie (Lullaby), Brigid got to shoot a scene with Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy), playing his cousin "Sarah". Also in the scene was the multi-talented Jennifer Hudson (Dream Girls). The upcoming Lullaby was written & directed by Andrew Levitas and is slated for release in 2014.

The 2nd thing Brigid was able to cross off her professional "bucket list' this past summer was to play a role most little girls in theatre dream of: Annie. What made her performance even more special & unique is that she was able to do it as an Equity actress, right in her hometown area! With a Guest Artist Equity agreement, Brigid was contracted to perform this dream role for just 3 performances. It was an incredibly successful run for the theatre and a dream come true for Brigid as she performed this iconic role as a professional actress.

In September, Brigid and her little sister Shannon were cast as principles in a special holiday television commercial for IKEA. They were happy to perform together again, and as sisters. This was the first commercial they did together. The spot ran in November and December nationally. The commercial was also edited with a Spanish voiceover and ran on many Spanish-speaking channels during the holidays as well. Also during the holidays, Brigid spent Christmas in Washington D.C. watching Shannon perform at the Kennedy Center as "Susan Waverly" in the Broadway tour of Irving Berlin's White Christmas. Brigid was thrilled to see her little sister perform the same role she did at the Walnut Street Theatre, with the same "Phil Davis" - Broadway's David Elder.

Brigid began 2013 back in the studio recording new Chuggington scripts for 3 new movies which will air on the Disney Channel. Koko and the gang are back and more exciting than ever with new adventures, some new characters, and lots of action to keep all the little chuggers out there tuned in! Brigid has had the pleasure of recording these new sessions at the prestigious Goldcrest Post studios in the meat-packing district of Manhattan, whose London-based post production team won an Academy Award for Sound Mixing this year for Les Miserables.

Brigid was pleased to have been invited back to Broadway to say "au revoir" to Mary Poppins. On March 3rd, the company of Mary Poppins performed their final show on Broadway. Brigid, along with the other "Jane & Michael Banks" kids were invited to attend this final performance and a reception afterwards. It was a great day for Brigid, starting with a Chuggington recording session in the morning and a quick walk uptown to the New Amsterdam to say a final goodbye to "Mary" as she flew up and over the audience one last time.

Brigid is honored to be performing with Brian d'Arcy James (Shrek The Musical, Smash) and other Broadway performers for Skyline Theatre's Broadway for the Arts Concert of Stars in April. Under the direction of the Skyline Theatre's Managing Artistic Director & Broadway Director Sam Scalamoni, these Broadway artists will pay homage to the timeless songs of Rodgers & Hammerstein.
